The equipment outlives everyone who knows anything about it
Cooling, heating and maintenance in San Angelo — and a written file for every system we touch, because the useful thing about a contractor is not the visit, it is the record the visit leaves behind.
What we keep on file
- What is installedMake-agnostic detail: type, capacity, age, where it sits, what it serves and what it is connected to.
- What has been doneEvery visit, what we found, what we changed, what we deliberately left alone and why.
- What is comingWhat we expect to need doing next, and roughly when — so a replacement is a budget line rather than a surprise.
Index of services
- 01Cooling service and repair
Measured rather than guessed at: coil condition, refrigerant behaviour, airflow and electrical draw, with the readings written down each time so the file shows a trend rather than a snapshot.
- 02Heating service and repair
Burners, heat exchanger, flue, gas pressure, safeties and airflow. In this climate a furnace runs a handful of weeks a year, which is exactly why the annual check finds things.
- 03Duct work and airflow
Sealing, repairs and airflow measured room by room, before and after, so the work has a number attached to it.
- 04Maintenance agreements
Planned visits with a report against each unit. What a plan covers is set out in full on the maintenance page rather than summarised into a slogan.
- 05Replacement
Sized from the building with a load calculation, quoted with the duct work included, and only when the file says it is time.
- 06Commercial plant
Rooftop units, splits, make-up air and unit heaters on planned schedules, with one record per site. The businesses page covers it.

Two kinds of file
- HousesSan Angelo and the towns around it. Cooling that has to hold through the summer, heating for one hard week, and a record you keep when you sell the house.
- BuildingsOffices, clinics, shops and workshops on planned schedules, with one file per site and an annual look at the whole of it.
Build your own record card
You do not need us to start a file. Fill in what you can find on the equipment itself and print the card, and you will have more written down about your system than most households in this county.
Nothing is stored and nothing is sent anywhere — the card is assembled in your browser and disappears when you close the tab.
Before you call
What do you mean by a file?
A written record that belongs to the building rather than to us: what is installed, where the isolators are, what we measured on each visit, what we changed and what we expect next. You keep it, and you take it with you if you leave.
Where do I find the model and serial number?
On a plate on the equipment — on the outdoor unit, or on the furnace or air handler, often inside the access panel. Photograph it while you are there. The record card page walks through the eight things worth writing down.
Does age decide whether to replace a system?
No. A serviced fifteen-year-old system is a better bet than a neglected eight-year-old one. We read what the file says about condition, and where there is no file we start one.
What does a maintenance plan cost?
It is priced after a survey, per unit, in writing. Any figure published on a website would only be wrong for your building — the maintenance page sets out exactly what is covered instead.
Do you work on commercial buildings?
Yes. Offices, clinics, shops, workshops, churches and multi-unit sites, with one file per site and an annual review of the whole of it.
